Our Disney Tradition

I started a Disney tradition for Jayda the first trip we took with her. I bought a Precious Moment Figurine that represented her trip as a whole... this was it

She absolutely adored Cinderella's Castle and Cinderella herself...

Then this last trip she rode on a few more rides than last time with her favorite being the tea cups... oh and we can't forget Minnie Mouse

I plan on buying one of these (or something to it's effect) that will represent each trip she takes. I've gotten lucky on the first two!!

Time for some DISNEY pictures!

I had to seriously narrow it down because Michael took a LARGE amount of pictures and this does not include ANY of my photopass pictures... I will just have to post another blog entry when that time comes. :=)

We had a GREAT time... it was busy, but we still enjoyed it. We are already making our plans to get back there... who wants to join us?? The more the merrier!!

So it beigins...

Off to Disney!

I *might* give a blog update sometime in the middle of the week... no promises though ;)!

We are heading out to Austin and meeting up with Lindsey and Landrie there then catching a flight out on Sunday morning to ORLANDO! So stay tuned for some Disney pictures and I'm sure funny stories about the girls.

Oh, and I am working on posting the video of Jayda as the BIG BAD WOLF at school... it is HILARIOUS and I can't wait to share it with you guys. It was something that I am glad I didn't miss and I am totally bummed that Michael DID miss it... and don't get me started on that one... it wasn't Michael's fault and it just totally confirms my feelings about a certain thing that I will just keep to myself at this moment. But yeah, the grudge thing I mentioned on a previouse post -- THIS definitely applies!

ANYHOO... Have a GREAT Spring Break and I'll be back to post soon!

What YYY means to me...

Week 5 BLOG CHALLENGE!

Photobucket

YYY-- Let's YADA YADA YADA. It means, friendship, support, encouragement, motivation and many other things! Four years ago when I found out I was pregnant I was talking to a co-worker and she casually mentioned babycenter (the original board we all met on). She told me that I should sign on, but she also warned me that it was ADDICTING! Addicting? Nah, not me! Well, here I am, our babies are almost 4 years old and we are STILL together, on YADA now... no more babycenter (long story).

We (the YADA ladies)were all pregnant when we 'met' and we got through our pregnancies together, our births, our first birthdays, second birthdays, third birthdays, now planning the fourth. We've debated many, many topics...t.v. or no t.v.... breastfeeding vs. formula feeding, rearfacing carseat or forward facing. We've fought, we've cried, we've laughed...just like a real family! We have comforted each other, we have motivated each other and we have been there for each other.

These ladies mean a lot to me! They let me vent, they entertain and they are just there! You can meet a lot of them by looking at my blog list. They are awesome people and I am blessed to call them friends.

Week 4 Blog Challenge: A Cause I Care About

Although I realize that ALL types of cancer are horrible, childhood cancer is the one I have been affected by and therefore is 'the cause I care about'. I was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at birth and because of my mother and her persistence, I survived, thank you Jesus!
